This bill is an attack on homeowners struggling to keep their homes out of foreclosure in an economic downturn. Our incomes are greatly reduced and insurance costs are shyrocketing all by themselves and need no additional factors to make homeownership for the people of Hawaii all the more difficult. This legislature has no aloha for their own people, the people who put them in office, the people who expect them to reduce expenditures, not to spend more in a time of hardship. These are the very same legislators who vote themsleves salary increases when everyone else is dealing with less income and unemployment. If this bill passes, it will be remembered in November. We Will Remember!!!
